One Point Six Aesthetics is a boutique medical aesthetics and wellness practice in Santa Cruz inspired by the Golden Ratio, the mathematical principle behind natural beauty and balance. Hybrid Front Desk / Medical Assistant
Part-Time | Opportunity for Growth
This isn't your typical Medical Assistant position.
At One Point Six Aesthetics, we believe beautiful results begin long before a treatment starts. They begin with how patients are welcomed, cared for, and supported throughout every interaction. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves taking care of people, notices the details others miss, enjoys creating calm out of chaos, takes pride in staying one step ahead, and believes hospitality is just as important as clinical excellence.
This unique hybrid position combines Medical Assisting with Patient Experience and Front Office responsibilities. Every day is different, and you'll play an essential role in helping our practice run beautifully while creating an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
We're not looking for someone to simply fill a position. We're looking for someone who wants to become an indispensable part of our team.

Your responsibilities may include:
Greeting and welcoming patients.
Assisting providers during aesthetic and wellness treatments.
Rooming patients and preparing treatment rooms.
Performing blood draws and processing laboratory specimens.
Taking clinical photographs and documenting patient visits.
Managing appointment flow and helping providers stay on schedule.
Assisting with inventory and maintaining beautifully organized treatment rooms.
Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and supporting front desk operations.
Helping create a seamless, luxury patient experience from start to finish.
No two days are exactly alike, and we love it that way.

Required
Medical Assistant certification (or equivalent experience)
Strong phlebotomy experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Professional, polished, and compassionate demeanor
Preferred
Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, concierge medicine, or wellness
Familiarity with EMR systems
Interest in skincare, wellness, and aesthetic medicine
Most importantly, we're looking for someone with initiative, curiosity, warmth, and a genuine desire to grow.
